The price of donkey milk, which is known as the closest to breast milk and recommended to be consumed abundantly because it is rich in vitamins, has reached up to 80 Turkish Liras. Abdullah Arslan (46year old), form Torbalı, Izmir is trying to meet the demand for donkey milk in his donkey farm for 4 years. He has 40 donkeys but the total daily milk is only 4 liters. The price of milk did not affect demand. Abdullah Arslan stated that regardless of the donkey milk prices, the consumers who know the value of donkey milk continue to buy it.
