Once the miscanthus has been harvested, it is usually used as biofuel or animal litter. In Thorembais-Saint-Trond (Walloon Brabant), however, a young farmer has chosen to use miscanthus differently. It is in the form of litter that Benoît Lempereur has been marketing his miscanthus for five years.
