Young people stayed in their villages thanks to “Young Farmer Project”

Young entrepreneurs did not leave their villages, thanks to the Young Farmer Project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkey. In the province Kastamonu, 807 young farmers between the age of 18 and 40 get subsidies within the Young Farmer Project and founded their own farms in different areas of agriculture such as livestock, vegetable gardening, fruit cultivation, bee keeping. Due to this project the farmers stayed in their villages and did not migrate cities.
